(Students listen

Task for listening (CD2,19/ ex.1)
Hello, our names are Katharina and Niklas Kohlheim. We are 8 and 10 years old. What do we usually have for breakfast ?
Well, we usually eat bread and butter, jam or marmalade, and cheese, eggs, bacon or salami. We usually drink tea with milk, or sometimes fruit tea.
At weekends we have a glass of milk. Our parents like white coffee (that's coffee with milk). We also drink juice; orange juice is the best.
Katharina prefers bread and butter, with strawberry jam, and I like bread and cheese and boiled eggs. What is your favourite breakfast?
Text for correcting
The parents drink black coffee. The children only like
milk and juice. They never drink fruit tea. They usually have biscuits and
fruit for breakfast. Katharina sometimes eats bread and butter with marmalade.
Niklas prefers rolls with salami and tomatoes.
3. Listening 2
T: There is much talking about healthy eating nowadays. Listen to the recording about Isabel’s diet and answer some questions after.(CD2,21/ ex.7)
WHAT DO I
EAT TO BE HEALTHY?
Hello, my name is Isabelle. I
work in an office. I love my job, but I sit at my desk all the time. I usually
run in the park after work and I eat healthy food to be fit.
I prefer fruit and vegetables. I like bananas,
oranges, melons, apples, cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce.
For breakfast I usually have cereal and milk. I never
eat bread, salami or eggs! When I come to work, I make a cup of coffee -
without sugar, of course. My lunchbreak is very short. I just eat a chicken
sandwich with lettuce - and no mayonnaise.
I try to have a hot meal for dinner every day. I
usually eat chicken or fish with potatoes or rice. And a lot of vegetables!
Do you want to know my secret? I love chocolate!
Milk chocolate is my favourite. I eat it sometimes and then run for a longer time in the park.

fruits ?
B) And favourite vegetables?
C) "What is her favourite
drink in the morning?
D) What sandwich does she eat for
lunch?
E) Does she eat anything
unhealthy?
F)
What is her usual dinner ?
T: What do you think of healthy food? Are you
interested in Isabel’s diet? Suppose you came to a nutritionist to improve your
eating habits. What questions would you like to ask him/her?
(Students make a
list of questions about their diet)
e.g. P: If I had the opportunity to talk to a
nutritionist, I would ask him/her some questions:
– I want
to loose 5 kg. What diet would you
recommend?
- What
time should I eat supper?
- What
products are harmless for me? etc.
T: Now we are able to make a list of recommendations
how to keep fit and healthy.
(Students sum up
the recommendations)
Summing up
T: Well, my friends. We have had lots of work to do today. What would you say about today's lesson? Did you like it? What new things have you learned? Can you name countable food items? Can you tell us what you have had for breakfast this morning?

shops where you can find them.
3. Work in pairs

Shepherd’s Pie
The

flour, eggs and milk and once cooked it is usually moistened with gravy. Unlike
other puddings, this is not a dessert. The British eat it as part of the main
course.

Sunday lunchtime is when most British people eat the
